The partners left with a couple of boxes to ship home to avoid baggage expense and hassle. I believe they are all set to leave tomorrow afternoon both are doing very well, best I can tell. Shirley has a doctor in Davenport set up and all the local data and reports have been faxed back to him.
The trailer has all the necessary lights functional again. If I didn’t have to move it tomorrow to get Shorty’s car all the way back in the drive, I’d go get a load of granite to celebrate. Probably not a smart/good idea -
Well, I should get with the day. Clean out the Ford and check all it’s vital fluids etc for tomorrow’s run to the airport. It isn’t THAT far but it’s old (chuckle). That and cleaning it out needs to be done anyway. It’s not trashed inside just some dust and it very likely smells of smoke. I can fix those things and make the trip to the airport a little more comfortable for my passengers.
