Let's see now, I helped at Kurt's yesterday - a LOT was accomplished - not getting close yet but closer than I thought it would be. I was one tired old dog come evening but home was/is home and that helps sometimes and sometimes not.
that, a good book and about 3 fingers of good old KY bourbon (in a water bucket (chuckle) made for a good evening. Read, tend the fire, read, nap, tend the fire, I can tell ya I have to go back and re-read a page from time to time but. . .
If you hadn't figured it out yet - Today was pretty slow both in physical activity but mentally & emotionally also. That darn emotional business is something else. Not like I hadn't had a few ups and downs before but . . . It's coming up on 4 years and I'm not sure I've progressed much and in some areas back slide some. Neither Sherry nor I wanted a "needy, dependent" relationship -
All in all things are OK- and certainly a LOT to be Thankful for - (reminder to myself) AND true.
My goal for tomorrow is higher than today (that won't take much). Cleanup the house & courtyard and a few other minor things and be ready to get the stitches out Tuesday. Been there, done that before but I won't plan/expect much else.
