Finally I’m due at the Gilbert VA health care in the morning for lab work and Yes I’ve been on a water only fast since 6:00 PM. It seems that the entire process had changed. Needless to say I started at the very wrong end and had to work backwards. I may not be too popular there right now but . . . It seems that the process of evaluating a patient prior to an appointment is a process of several people asking questions to fill out specific computer forms and then following the procedure the computer system indicated. If there wasn’t a clear computer generated diagnosis and designated procedure then the picture gets really cloudy. One tends to not get any direction to follow. Now I know – OK as long as they don’t change it again right away.
Also among the time spent of the phone I worked on the computer to order copies of my DD 214’s, Military release forms. Some how through the years and many moves I lost one. I’ve has a couple of instances where I needed the missing one. It’s the one that accounts for the 2 year tour of duty. Even though the one I have shows the total duty period it gets questioned – I don’t like that when I can’t offer a simple reply- like at Lowes & Home Depot wanting my discount. I got that done except for the actual doing of it. (chuckle) I have the letter with all the info ready but not printed. I’m not messing with my antique printer that is still hooked to a non functional computer sooo I’m going to email it to Dawn and ask her to print a copy and I’ll pick it up, sign & date it and put it in the mail. Sometime thereafter I should get them via the mail, sometime.
