Whoops what happened to Wed.? Oh Yeah TODAY is Wed. Been a long sucker! Most of it's length was this afternoon and seems to be extending . . . So in the course of making and receiving fairly important phone calls (important to me) I began to wonder if some Fed. agency is interested my telephone communications. My cell would ring and I couldn't answer it - I tried calling it from my old landline and it wouldn't go through - THEN they both seemed to work but not communicate between them selves. Hey - weren't no black choppers overhead or any strange cars on the block - well, except mine. Imagine that, while trying to find out WHY I didn't have an eye exam scheduled. No one knew ? They all had a record of me requesting one more than once and no reason why it wasn't appropriate or approved but it just wouldn't go through the system.
Folks that is federally controlled health care with lots of great people not being able to make it happen due to invisible barriers. Believe me - I don't LIKE being a conspiracy advocate but. . . When I finally said "enough" for today I was ready for something else - a trip to the legion maybe. I sat beside an older couple - yeah about my age. The gentleman was really enjoying the music (jukebox). As they left the wife whispered to me he has altimers - see I can't even spell it- All I could say was "OK and I won't remember your names either but I WILL remember your faces. I look forward to seeing you next time" What else is there to say? I do hope to see them again.Very tough final years for them. . .
I don't want to dwell on that for long but I'm sure glad the old boy enjoyed himself.
Is it strange ?
Well it is for me. I can remember times in the past when it seemed like everyone I knew was in a spot of extreme stress. Well now seems to be another one of THOSE times. So many of those who mean so much to me are stressed. WHAT THE HECK ? My computer is beeping at me or maybe it's my cell phone - I can't tell - something is beeping at me. Ha Ha Ha- My bar stool has a beep/squeak like sound if I lean to the left when typing - I think that's what it is? ? ? Oh Great! Another mystery! I just traded bar stools and whoops I THOUGHT all was well but - It's the computer beeping at me for some reason. For Today, I think I'll quite while I'm ahead, I AM AHEAD, right? (chuckle)
