OK I have continued cell phone services and now to negotiate for internet services WITHOUT land line phone & Cable TV. Landline – 3-7 telemarketers a day – I can live without anyway very nicely, ESPECIALLY when I’m working on something & run to grab the phone. TV, the channels I ?might ? watch aren’t available without and a major package that I DON’T want. Being a non movie person. I have tried to keep track and there is nothing on cable that I’d pay $30 an hour to see. Crotchety, surly and crusty old man that I, so proudly am. Now to get THAT done. Ain’t looking forward to it as Cox has become a corporate monster. Couldn’t care less about customers from since before they bought the rights from a competitor 20 + yrs ago. Actually considering going to a satellite system just to avoid hearing “we don’t do that anymore.” (service their equip, that I’m paying for)
Ha Ha Ha Did mention “ Crotchety, surly and crusty old man? “Oh yeah I think I might have mentioned that”. BUT all that B. S. It’s still a beautiful evening and the temptation to finish a good book remains- probably not strongly enough but . . .
I DO understand that all these “issues” are now common place in today’s world yet I’m compelled to fight each one of them. But will ya still love me in the morning ? ? ? Where the heck did THAT come from?
