Another good day. I dug another transformer out of mass of ‘good stuff’ in the shed. Well actually I dug out TWO but the first one was the same type that kicked out with all the ceiling lights. I pre-judged them by weight! Seriously. Generally the heavier a transformer the higher it’s power. I LIKE THEM (the lights). Then as I seemed to be on a roll I tackled one the front yard lights that shines on the largest Saguaro. Not only is it getting tall (10’+) but there’s sentimental attachments to it. WE dug it up way back in the early days. It was about 1 1/2 feet tall then. I like for it to be highlighted – I enjoy it. It’s light had gone out and I replaced it with a newer type plus adapted it’s fixture to LED. The adapting of the fixture turned into an issue but I got it done. Probably wouldn’t do it again but I’d already bought the bulb – NEW at the hardware store. Ha Ha While at the hardware store I saw my neighbor from a few houses down. One of the clerks (smart ass was being funny) Said I guess two are going back and drinking beer this afternoon. I said I don’t think Kev is a beer drinker to which he replied “Wait a minute, I like beer.” Whoops he also has a IH Scout & drink beer? Whooo. I gave him a ride home and about an hour was thoroughly used up. I went home and got back to work when I guy I’d talked to out on the sidewalk went by and said “Hey I’ve got something for you.” He reached into his shoulder bag and pulled out a booklet published by City of Mesa about desert vegetation and handed it to be. It is likely the best directory of desert plants I’ve seen. Way Cool! He was headed wherever he lives and I went back to work. Got it all going and sat down in my courtyard recliner and just enjoyed the ‘fruits of my labor’. It was dark by then. So tomorrow I have plenty to put away and pickup but that’s OK. Now I’m trying to remember if I ate today- I’m not sure – I guess it means I’d better have a snack. Now for the BIG question – Before I shower or after then WHAT to eat? Oh the decisions I have to deal with. . .
