Just a little before dark here I was trying to capture an imagine of the sky, giant puffy looking white clouds over a beautiful blue sky. I just ran into the bar when I heard something falling. I thought it must be sleet or hail but once again I was incorrect. Just BIG rain drops. It seems to be all over. What I neglected to do before dashing for the bar was to throw a cover over the laid in fire in the hearth of the fireplace- Oh Well just for the record -that wasn't the first time that's happened.

Another note in regard to my new hi tech hearing enhancers - I thought the Mocking Birds had left us here. Wow was I - whoops not merely incorrect but totally WRONG. Ha Ha Ha
I think I'm in trouble! I haven't tackled a single 'started project' but in an attempt to deal with that issue I haven't started any NEW projects either. That IS progress - sort of, maybe kind of. Give me a moment I think of some way out of the quagmire I've created of domestic and maintenance I've successfully avoided so far.
I was hungry, the kitchen was a mess- Plan- address kitchen mess while fixing something to eat. Well it sounded like a good plan at the time. In the process of that I moved the coffee maker to clean under & around it. Well that wasn't expected! Coffee the had leaked under the coffee maker and been cooked on. I had to use razor scraper to get it off. I was thinking about looking for a new one and got side tracked - well willfully side tracked probably I was thinking about going out for breakfast tomorrow and thought I'd order coffee - something I rarely do. I thought about it, wondered about it and thought (risky always). It worked great - it just leaked! I won't tell you all the ideas I had before I thought, I don't even KNOW what the real problem is. It seemed to be reasonable to take it apart and find out WHY it leaked, right? Oh the issues that has caused me in times past. In THIS case two hoses were bad- one coming to the heater and one leaving the heater. Why yes, I thing that would account for leaking problems - da - Ya Think? Now obviously I've thought this out a bit (?) IF I can find proper food quality hose with-in an hour - whoopee - if not - a trip to Sam's. I just spent days looking for a holster and then settled for a "OK, good for now but" holster. Short delivery time & less than $30. I'm good to go again but still in the market for what I WANT. HUM, Somehow I feel like I've been there before with different items- issues- decisions. . . While I'm not laughing out loud I am smiling as I think "crazy old man" and the only thing new is the 'old' part and that ain't exactly brand new. If you not smiling yet or I'll start telling stores you've heard a few times already AND using Ewing's pet expression "If I've told this story before just bear with me cause I really enjoy telling it."
