The News From Here

After a couple of days of occasional gentle showers the promised rain might have arrived. It’s coming down pretty good now! My negligence in cutting the grass will likely haunt me. Oh it’s green NOW and TALL. Good thing there isn’t much of it – but that’s always been my attitude about it. Yeah Yeah even I can feel the difference in the temperature in it, the back yard as opposed to the granite’d areas. BUT, it’s a 10 minute deal to walk the outer region – front and east side and spray for grass and weeds. Besides I Like It- the desert part. It’s been a strange year – Well I’d say I’ve reached the point when the years are all strange. The closer I follow the news the more I conclude that. WE have some elected some crazy people – NO - worse than crazy, they are homicidal and suicidal. Frankly I wouldn’t mind the second but they aren’t very good at that. OK I’m off that subject.
Mostly things are OK around old #5- lots need to be done but when I recall what was here when we came here– it’s OK. Feb. 13 1993. I handled it then and I’ll handle it now or not and the world will carry on.
