7:00 PM

I Made it to the tail end of the Veterans Day at the Legion. I went late and came home early. Everyone else had been there quite a while. I wasn’t in that condition or mood but I didn’t want to be home early. That was the problem for me. It is nice to have somewhere to stop by when the walls and fences at home start closing in.
I was cleaning up after fixing a sandwich and side dish when I noticed the fresh ground Brisket in the fridge. Oh Darn! Those might not have been the exact words I used but close. I’ve never had a Brisket Burger that I recall! Oh Well – tomorrow for sure – I only bought it yesterday. The young men packing it up for me said “I guarantee that’s 100% Brisket because we ground it all.” I’ll lay it on a small grill tomorrow and see if it’s a good thing for me.
I cut a fresh Meyers lemon this evening. A couple had fallen off the tree and I had laid them in the sunshine a couple of days. Yep they are ready – or close enough. It’s seems early but while chatting with Dawn yesterday we BOTH realized that Thanksgiving was only 11 days away. I guess it isn’t all that early.
