I made it to the “fly in” this morning. Hey, how can you pass up admission of $8 with breakfast.

Especially when YOU’RE the young kid on that block, not happening often anymore. Some fantastic old airplanes and great people.
I guess I’m a lot more transparent than I thought. I was sitting there as a plane came in for a landing – it was LOUD. I’m watching it and running the sound through my brain – Don’t have a clue what it is. The guy sitting next to me said “you don’t recognize the sound do You”? Nope, I admit when he responses with “it’s a jet engine driving a prop”. Loud isn’t it?” Indeed it was. OK I’m not real knowledgeable about antiquated aircraft or much of anything else - antiquated or not. BUT I’m better with “ antiquated” .
