Two carports back up ! Shop cover? Not yet. I fought the two enough for one day. Way too much of that ?fun? was dedicated to making them more rigid and wind resistant - in vain I’m sorry to say. Start with junk and don’t expect too much more.

Well I didn’t buy then but. . . I will continue to use them till ? ? ?
After that I was ready for a visit to the Legion. Fun & lots a laughs for a while till I was ready to EAT- ½ a brisket burger, a few fries and an ear of corn at home. Wow! I remembered how we used to do 1 or 2 ears of corn still in the husk in the microwave but had to Google it to be sure. That’s the best way I’ve found for a just a couple of ears. One or two ears – 4-5 minutes then remove and chop the base off and they are done. The husks and hairs come off with a wipe. I have to tell ya actually cooking for one is a challenge but not nearly as hard a buying & cooking for ONE. Then there’s the clean up! Not much more for one as several but not as motivating as a sink full of dishes. I’m trying to avoid that whenever possible! (chuckle) Wash up immediately after devouring !
A satisfied full tummy and a glass of brew PLUS a good book. That’s about as good as it gets when it’s just you.
I plan a trip to Kurt’s tomorrow – he said he’s painting his flood gates and should be ready for final assembly Sat. Another one man job made sooo much easier with two. Sometimes. . .
