Wow I really got carried away for Memorial Day. I observed it with a trip to the grocery store, three in fact.
No I didn’t take out a loan or much less even break the bank.
No I didn’t get a lot of stuff that I didn’t go after (hardly any).
No I didn’t get everything I DID go after (couldn’t find it).
No I didn’t remember the list I made and printed out. Still laying on the printer.
Yes I added to the observation of the day with a home made brisket burger with bacon and tomato. I couldn’t eat it all! Let’s see I have leftover biscuits & gravy with sausage patties on more biscuits for breakfast and leftover home made brisket burger with bacon and tomato for lunch – snacks for evening and I am 'good to go' chow wise anyway.
I don’t recommend a big breakfast followed in a few hours with a big lunch and expect “old Crusty” to be very active. The wind was forecast to have been gone today. I had the new tarp for the shop laid out and ready as I noticed that the tarps for the two carports (removed quickly the other day due to WIND) needed attention – straightened and anchored so as to make it a little more difficult for them to take off into the sky WITHOUT the metal frames! The wind had been blowing directly from the South and strong enough to blow some of the old wood fence slats off the fence also. Currently the forecast doesn’t include anything more than 8-10 mph. MAYBE I’ll get it back together with some improvements to the structure- EVENTUALLY.
