Caution Alert: not a recommended read. I’m relieved to say that so far I have survived another July 3. I’m pretty impressed with myself (that’s a trouble alert). No excesses, break downs, inappropriate crashes or emotional challenges – mostly. OK ! My target is another year ! Sure hope I get more done this year – The first few years there were things that HAD to be done or ELSE and things popping up that NEEDED to be handled Right Now. Many not fun things as anyone who has lost someone can attest to but HAD to be done. Just get it done and face another day was the rule. Now it’s the day to day that is difficult. OK as you might surmise I’m preaching to myself. The very worst member of my congregation I might add. (smile) I set back and say (to myself) Amen and then doze off. Tomorrow I’ll tackle that but when tomorrow comes - hum - well maybe the NEXT tomorrow. You see a pattern developing here? THAT’S the scary thing! Next thought – what should I be thankful for? EVERYONE & EVERYTHING especially the EVERYONE! Wow am I Blessed! Indeed.
