My trip to dermatology this morning was worth the trip for me. Nurse came and got me and said "Let's see the wound". "GREAT you've really taken great care of it (wasn't me!) and it's doing fantastic. Let me get the doctor- she'll want to see it too. Dr. Targovnik (spelling is correct) came in all smiling and said "well done, looking great - where's the sling?". Whoops! . I apologized for taking their time and said I was concerned about the color & puffiness, but Thankful for their report. I said Great! I can get back to work? NO! in unison ! and VERY definitively!. Monday the stitches come out and I was told what the stitches would be replaced with butterfly bandages! Oh Joy! NOT! My instructions "Don't you dare pull them off or break the wound open". Whoops! I was really Thankful and relieved though! Again I apologized for taking their time unnecessarily and got another stiff reprimand from them both for the apology - and their thanks for, quite what I didn't really know. But I know when 'old doc Targovnik" said "always happy to see ya", See you next month. Oh yeah start the next one ! You'd think she was on commission. Ha Ha Ha
