Ghee Wiz I get to go tire shopping first thing this morning. I am quite thankful it for only ONE tire. The fronts are just a few years old and the other rear looks sound and is treaded. I had felt a very slight tremble occasionally. Said tremble being in the seat and not in the steering I was fairly certain it was caused by the oldest tire on the car. As the condition disappear and had gotten slightly more intense I prepared to jack up the rear and check. A jack wasn’t necessary. A close inspection verified my suspicions. Finding a good used 215 70 15 isn’t always easy. The largest size that will work- Unfortunately that “cause” is NOT one of Ford’s better ideas and it’s the case with that entire series of Ford, Mercury and Lincolns.
Finish my cereal and put on some shoes and I’m ready to go.
