As follow-up to last evening’s weather report (below)- it’s appropriate that I inform you that the storms “after my posting, within a fairly short period” all dissipated. I can’t say I was sorry to see them gone but a little shocked.
This morning the same prognosticators say that it’s all clear for a while and the temperatures are expected to return to more normal – I WANT to believe them.
I’m fortunate that I get to try foods that I wouldn’t risk the investment or the labor to try at home. Bill loves to do exactly that and I’m often included in the final testing process- EATING. Yesterday it was Tuna steaks. The real plus for them is that they are available flash frozen and in individual packages PLUS a tiny hot fire and they are grilled in minutes. Now I’ll admit that Bill’s marinate and the Peach salsa didn’t hurt a bit.
I hear a yard blower going somewhere in the neighborhood. That’s what I should be doing along with cutting up some fallen small limbs and racking the leaves away from cacti etc. Maybe after breakfast. . .
