How  on earth did I do that? Oh I know but I really don’t want to admit it. I piddled the day away again minus the card to Gideon. I think I might need some consulting. I could do it myself for myself if I really wanted to. (chuckle) OK now comes the real consulting - for some reason I seem to be overpoweringly rebellious. Hum, Imagine that / considering me? Yeah ain’t too hard is it. My issue is just exactly what am I rebellious toward, about. OK – enough of that -
I got my bill from Cox (landline, internet and cable TV). It went up by $40 a month. So now making changes to my “package” MAY not be relative because I guess my package went away. I will find out tomorrow. I hope I don’t end up emailing for bond money because I’m really ticked. Just kidding but not about being ticked but I’ve pretty well been expecting this. I’m not sure what to do about it but . . .
My guess is all this is of little interest to most folks – if it weren’t
me, I probably wouldn’t be all that interested. That makes me smile at myself AGAIN/still.
Returning from an errand I thought I’d stop at the Legion. Taking the first open stool.
The guy in the next one over turned around to introduced himself. Some discussion followed and soon we were into the first typical of conversations in AZ- “Where ya from?” Clinton IA! You’re kidding me I covered Clinton for two different companies- I left IA from about 20-25 miles south of there. Beautiful Dixon Ia. He’d never heard of it ! (chuckle) Hey it was a population hub with 100 homes in town, some of which had people living in them, it was a center . . . of something. . . I never figured out what. We knew it was a very long shot with little chance of success but when you run out of – about everything – except willingness to “give it a try” you (we) do dumb things (things that proved to be UN-doable) - never realizing it could end up worse that you (we) could imagine. Wow I’m sounding like a morbid, disgruntled old dude. That really isn’t the case, I don’t think? I have so much to be Thankful for and some of it relates to life on earth.
OK – a new episode of the Mystery of Oak Island FINALLY. Ha Ha Ha- Yeah I’m hooked

  1. Hi Crusty. I am trying to get back into the habit of posting on Blogger.
This year was a very hectic one, finishing with my sister getting married and now honeymooning in North Carolina. That was a month ago, and I think I'm just catching my breath after it all!

    1. Understand the hectic part really well. I've had computer issues (old systems failing) and I haven't gotten them under control yet.
I just located your blog again as the system I had the address on is rapidly failing as in may never start again. It was/is great to hear from you and will following your adventures closely
